SKYDOG Love Stories - Gabriella & Parker Part Two
We thought it was time to follow up with some of our favorite couples we've made rings for over the years. Gabriella and Parker were first on our mind. They got married back in 2021 on Vashon Island. Check out the dreamy ceremony and all of the incredible details in part one HERE. You won't be disappointed.
In between tummy time and burps we were able to ask Gabriella a few questions on life lately and things that make her smile. And photos of course. Hope you enjoy.
-It’s been a few years since your wedding. How has life changed for you?
Life has changed greatly for us. After we got married we did some travel and settled into our home on Vashon Island for some time. I think the biggest change has been becoming parents. I became pregnant and we moved off of the island to be closer to family, it is has been such a beautiful experience. We are expecting our second baby boy this Spring. We are over the moon about it. Life is about to get even wilder.
-It’s been so sweet to watch your family grow over the years. What’s your favorite part about being parents?
There is just no love like it. Our favorite part is watching our son's unique personality shine through more and more each day as he grows. We wonder who he will be and talk about it endlessly. He is the light of our life, hard to believe we get to love another like this.
-What are you most excited for with welcoming your second child to the family?
I have always dreamt of having boys. I am not sure why this is, but I always pictured myself with sons. I can feel deep in my bones that these two were meant to be together and grow up together. Giving Roman a sibling is the greatest gift I can think of to give someone. I think we are most excited to watch their sibling relationship grow over the years, it is important to me that they are always always there for one another.
-Will you share a few sweet/special moments from that last few years?
Watching Parker become a dad has been a real gift to me. My father passed away when I was young, I always wondered what it would be like to have had him in my life. Watching Parker love Roman the way he does is almost a little glimpse into what I have always yearned for and dreamt of. There is a sense of magic in the house since becoming parents and it has brought by far the sweetest most special moments.
-How are your rings doing?
Our rings are as beautiful as ever! They have not left our fingers since our wedding day. We wear them all day, every day and truly adore them. They are our most special possessions by far. Both Parker and I, get compliments on them all the time. They feel like as much as a treasure today as they did when we first put them on years ago.
-Any advice you’d like to give to newlyweds reading?
Just go with the flow of life, try not to take things too seriously. You get to go through it all with your best friend and love of your life, because of that, it will be okay.
