How do I know my size?
The best way to get your correct size is to go to a local jeweler and have them size your finger. We always recommend to size down since we can always size up one full size. We are responsible for sending you the ring size you ordered, however we cannot be responsible for determining your ring size. (Some people wear their rings loose, some tight. The size is your responsibility.)
Do you have a store?
Skydog operates from a private studio and does not have a open storefront at this time. We do have a few vendors that carry our products. For more information, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I have something rushed?
If you need a piece by a certain date, we are happy to accommodate you, however, we do charge a small non-negotiable fee to prioritize your order. Please email us before ordering if you need it by a certain date.
Where do you ship?
We have the ability to ship everywhere! Usually takes about 2-3 weeks to ship to domestic addresses.
Can I cancel an order?
If you need to cancel an order you must email us within 24 hours of when you place your order. Many pieces are custom made and once production begins on them they cannot be cancelled or returned. If you are unsure if something is a final sale, please email us.
Do you accept custom orders?
We do accept customs orders from time to time based on our inventory. We do not accept your own heirloom stones at this time. If interested email us. We do not accept gift cards on custom orders.
Your piece was handmade and should be handled with care. To improve the longevity of your piece do not swim, bathe or shower in your jewelry and avoid excessive heat and sun exposure.
For Amber, to clean use warm, mild soapy water. The dyes used to color amber can change or fade under certain circumstances. Amber burns at relatively low temperatures and can darken with excessive exposure to light.
For Moonstone, warm soapy water is the only recommended substance for cleaning moonstones. Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaners. High heat can cause cracks or breaks in moonstone.
For Onyx, clean by using a soft dry cloth or brush to wipe away any dirt. You can wet the cloth lightly, but onyx is porous and absorbs liquids easily so avoid too much water and dry right after cleaning. Onyx can scratch, chip or crack easily, make sure to handle with care. Never use chemicals on your onyx since it can cause discoloration.
For Opal, to clean opal is with warm, mild soapy water. We recommend you avoid sudden changes or dry temperatures since some believe it can crack the opal. Opals are very soft stones naturally and should be handled with care.
For Turquoise, clean with warm, mild soapy water. Never cleaned with steam or ultrasonic cleaners. Some turquoise is treated to improve its surface appearance so heat or solvents can damage the treated surfaces or cause discoloration.
For Silver and Gold, to care for your precious avoid chemicals that can discolor the metal, like chlorine or ammonia. We also recommend storing silver in an anti-tarnish bag.

Returns will be accepted only if the return is sent within seven (7) days of the delivery confirmation date. If your item is in like new condition, you may receive credit in the form or original payment. If additional costs apply for a price difference you will be emailed a separate invoice. We do accept returns on made to order or custom pieces. Any ready to ship items that have been altered (size, length) are not eligible to be returned. Since we cannot be responsible for delivered packages that have been lost or stolen, we highly recommend selecting a delivery address that you trust. You must notify us of any return so that we will be expecting your package. Returns that are sent without our prior knowledge will be refused. We do not refund shipping costs or credit card fees. They will be deducted from the total amount of your refund. We do not accept exchanges or returns on custom pieces, but can be altered in size if need be. If something were to happen to your piece, don't hesitate to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We accept repairs on a case to case basis. If a piece (ring*, necklace, cuff, etc.) is too small or big we can size it up or down to a full size bigger for $25 for silver and $40 for gold to cover labor and shipping. If a jump ring or clasp breaks on your necklace within the first 30 days we will replace it. After 30 days, we can fix the necklace for a $20 fee (includes shipping). Please note that a certain amount of wear and tear is normal for handmade delicate jewelry. Consult our care section for further information on how to ensure a long life for your piece. Repairs or lengthening take about 2-3 weeks after receiving the package.
*We cannot size down our rings since it requires pulling the stone, potentially cracking or breaking the stone.
